Wilderness First Aid for Birders
Wilderness First Aid for Birders is a 16-hour class taught by University of Colorado School of Medicine faculty who are experienced birders themselves. WFA is a nationally recognized curriculum covering generic backcountry emergency medical care for the layperson (no experience necessary). The WFA-B class will provide participants with WFA content focused on backcountry environments and situations likely to be encountered by avid birders. A WFA certificate from the University of Colorado School of Medicine will be awarded to those who successfully complete the class.
