Dr. Martin Musi attended Buenos Aires University School of Medicine in Argentina, where he was raised, he completed an Internal Medicine Residency and emigrated to USA to complete his Emergency Medicine Residency at North Shore University Hospital, where he served as Chief resident.
Dr Musi is currently an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, coming from New York Presbyterian/Columbia University in 2014. He has been deeply involved with residency, medical student and Wilderness Medicine Education throughout his career. His Academic Interest involves cold related injuries, International and remote/expedition medicine.
He is the current Director of Section Collaborations with numerous organizations working in wilderness environments. Dr Musi is also the Department lead in the multidisciplinary frostbite treatment protocol.
