Dr. Andrew Clithero is a family medicine hospitalist based in northern Colorado. He had a decade of pre-hospital EMS experience prior to completing medical school at Kansas City University and trained at North Colorado Family Medicine in Greeley, CO, where he served as Academic Chief Resident. He is a backcountry ski patroller in northern Colorado and helps teach courses in outdoor emergency care, avalanche safety, as well as mountain travel/rescue and winter survival. Dr. Clithero has been involved in wilderness medicine education since medical school and has taught multiple different courses for the general public, medical students, and residents. His academic interests include medical education, high-altitude physiology, and point-of-care ultrasound.
