Sarah Terez Malka
Dr. Terez Malka is a board certified Emergency Medicine physician and Pediatrician, and a graduate of Massachusetts General Hospital’s Wilderness Medicine Fellowship. She previously serves as an assistant professor of Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency medicine at Carolinas Medical Center. She actively works with First Descents, a nonprofit providing outdoor adventures for young adults with cancer, Massachusetts General Hospital Global Disaster Response, and National Outdoor Leadership School Wilderness Medicine. Her academic interest areas include remote disaster response, medical education, expedition medicine, and vulnerable populations in austere settings. Dr. Malka is currently a Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician at CarePoint Healthcare.
Dr. Malka completed her undergraduate degree at University of Maryland College Park. She went to medical school at Ben Gurion University Medical School for International Health and completed her residency at Indiana University School of Medicine.
