CU STUDENTS: INTRODUCTION TO WILDERNESS MEDICINE
OVERVIEW
Introduction to Wilderness Medicine is an elective course offered to 1st and 2nd year medical students at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. It is a lecture-based series with an emphasis on basic science and pathophysiology of wilderness medicine problems. Students also participate in a hands-on session focusingĀ on patient care of patients in remote environments
An optional WFA certificate is offered upon request, payment and completion of the course.
