OVERVIEW
Introduction to Wilderness Medicine is an elective course offered to 1st and 2nd year medical students at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. It is a lecture-based series with an emphasis on basic science and pathophysiology of wilderness medicine problems. Students also participate in a hands-on session focusing on patient care of patients in remote environments

An optional WFA certificate is offered upon request, payment and completion of the course.
