The University of Colorado School of Medicine’s e-WFA offering covers all the topics as outlined in the Wilderness Medical Society’s WFA Guidelines & Scope of Practice, along with several additional topics particularly germane to Colorado and mountain environments. Hands-on skills are delivered via video format. Evaluation to ensure student competency includes quizzes, a completed case study, and demonstration of core skills to a faculty member via Zoom or other on-line video platform. The course can be delivered to an intact group or asynchronously.
